DynAero MCR-4S Airplane (4)

The initial studies of the four-seat MCR-4S started in early July 1994, while we were developing the MCR-Sportster, which first appeared in 1996 and alowed the development of the general technology. The airframe and the high lift devices such as the double slotted flaps were the ones that the MCR-ULC uses, and the command system the one used by the MCR-Club. The target was to develop something that seemed impossible then: A 4 seat airplanewith STOL capabilities, equipped with a 100 HP engine.

The 4S maiden flight was in June 2000. 

The MCR-4S is the only airplane that provides such high Performance / Economy Ratio.es el único avion en el mundo capaz de proporcionar un ratio de Rendimiento/Economía tan elevado. It was design to be a trevel airplane , able to fly comfortably with 4 people onboard, cruising at more than 250 Km/h and burning only 21 liters / hour with a 100 HP engine. This performance can only be achieved because MCR-4S very light empty weight. It can carry up to 150% of its own weight.

The research of a very elaborated aerodynamic design, with wing tips optimized in wind-tunnel, and high efficiency double slotted flaps, provide the MCR-4S with amazing STOL performances.

Designed around a roomy 1,2 mt.width cockpit at the rear seats, build to allow four people up to 1,95 mt. tall to be easyly seated on the airplane.

The airplane is equipped with a very strong oleo-pneumatic landing gear, allowing landings on any type of runways.

The MCR-4S can be equipped with a choice of different power plants, and with a choice of options such us Ballistic Recovery Parachute (BRS), Extended Range Fuel Tanks or Toe Operated Hydraulic Brakes.

The MCR-4S is available in fast assembly kit form, to be certified in Spain by Civil Aviation Authority as "Amateur Construction", and due to its weight, is neccesary to have Private Pilot License.
